Everyone has their own idea of the perfect sound. With the Millennium, it is very simple to create your own custom sounds quickly. To do this right, you usually want to get the amp sound dialed in first. After an amp type is selected, add effects to help liven up the sound.

2. Changing Amp Types

To create our own particular sound, let's start with selecting an amp type first. To do this, simply press one of the Amp Selector buttons as shown below. For heavy guitar sounds select either Amer Stack or Brit Stack. For more bluesy sounds select Amer Combo or Brit Combo.

Next, use the Gain and Tone controls to shape the sound of the amp type you selected. The Millennium's modeling actually includes emulating the tone control circuits of each particular amp, giving you as real a model as possible of how each amp actually behaves. Try switching channels using the J3 foot switch for even more flexibility.
