Demonstration Guide

Changing effects in the Johnson Millennium is as easy as changing amp types. This makes it much more fun creating your own effects chains and leaves you more time for playing. You can have a custom effects chain of up to 4 effects in any order by simply pressing a few buttons.

4. Changing Effects & Defaults

Let's say we want to change the effects in program 1 Rectifier Solo. First, decide what kind of sound you want. For our example we will say 4 effects in series.

1. Press the Config quick access button.

2. Turn the #1 /Speed knob until Config 13 Series 4, 4, 4, 4 is selected.

3. Select the effect to edit with the Preset/Effect wheel.

4. To change the effect, simply press and hold one of the Mod, Delay, Reverb, or Other buttons.

The currently selected module available for editing will flash in the display. When you press and hold an effect button, the first effect of this type will be loaded into the module. If you need a different effect of this type, use the #2 knob to change the effect.

When you have decided on an effect, use the #4 knob to scroll through the default settings to get you started.
