7. Assigning Parameters

Real time control of parameters during performance is one of the strengths of the Millennium. Let's control the speed of the Reverb Level in Preset 7 '65 Twin Bright. This can be done 2 different ways:

1. Using an Expression Pedal for level control.

2. Toggling between 2 different levels with a foot switch.

Here is how to do it:

1. Select the Level parameter on page 2 of the Reverb effect by turning the #4 knob.

2. Press the assign button again.

3. Move an Expression pedal or select a foot switch.

4. Set the Min and Max Level using the #3 and #4 knobs.

5. Press the Preset button.

Now you can change the speed of the Tremolo during live performance. This can be done gradually between the Min and Max speed with the Expression Pedal or between the 2 different speeds with the foot switch.

NOTE: If another parameter is assigned to either the foot switch or the pedal, you must un-assign them to avoid controlling both the new and old parameters together.
