disappointing that you haven`t finished the Mac software!!! You could at least make a PC to Mac preset converter. Must be really simple to make, if you`re into that...
The product is OK, but now Iīve been using a crashing beta for Mac a long time and I can`t update my J-station with Mac.
Come on now...

| I actually donīt think theyīll ever finish the mac version. Try to find a crappy PC somewhere (a P100 is largly enough) with a cheap soundcard and go with it. Presets are only 1 kB big, so you can easily store them on a floppy if you want. |

If you canīt, check out my short deep edit manual on
http://aragesoh.0catch.com/J.%20Manual.zip
Thereīs a screenshot of J-edit with the deep edit numbers on each knob, so you can tweak everything without a PC or the manual. But itīs in MS word formate (.doc). So if you canīt read it with your mac, mail me, Iīll send it to you as bitmap or something else.
Check also ma band homepage by the way on
www.aragesoh.0catch.com. (Itīs also translated into english)

You can convert the patches from PC to Mac. All you need are two Mac programs: 1. Hexedit (http://freespace.virgin.net/nick.shanks/mac/noframes/hexedit.html) and 2. Sysex (http://members.cox.net/sgrace9/sysex/) or a program which can send sysex data.
You have to open the patch (.sys) with hexedit. Then you must delete the first 21 entries. Save and thatīs all. See www.yaman-coolabah.com/johnson/patch.gif as an example. |

anybody knows what is the hex string to send to the JStation for a continuous controller change? For example, if I want to set the controller #34 (the amp emulation) to 1, on channel 1? Regards, Andrés |

| I got a software where you can see the MIDI data going through the computer. Gimme your E-mail and Iīll send it if you want. (You see it as hex string) |

CC is right, he has a right to expect support from the company that built this product and he is not getting it. Why is it unfair to expect a Mac version? Who the heck can read midi Hexi-decimal?? You guys are smart enough to write it yourself, so why not Johnson? |

| Someone on this forum has posted that Johnson has only one person for Mac programming. Unfortunately he is involved in other projects. I write an adaption for the J-Station for Emagicīs Sounddiver. When itīs ready, I post it on the forum. But itīs not so easy. |

WOW.
(could you insert a "print function" (to print the preset list in a bank) if thatīs possible? That would be very useful on stage.
MY banks always change and Iīm just too lazy to write it all down by hand. |
